[English]

In recent decades, the growth and expansion of urbanization and the rapid development of cities have brought with them numerous problems and dilemmas for urban spaces. These effects have been particularly evident and tangible in historical and central contexts. The aim of this research is to regeneration the Dabbagh neighborhood as the historical and primary core of Qazvin city with an emphasis on improving its sense of place attachment. Despite its special architectural and urban planning features, this neighborhood has suffered from physical and functional inefficiency. This research is of an applied type with a quantitative approach. The data collection method is library, documentary, field studies and questionnaire distribution. According to the neighborhood's population and based on the Cochran formula with a confidence level of 95%, the sample size was 362. The t-test statistic was used to analyze the significance of the weighted average of the data. Also, after identifying the status of the indicators in the neighborhood, strategies were developed and then prioritized using the QSPM quantitative SWOT technique. In this regard, indicators and criteria effective in promoting a sense of place attachment were identified through a review of theoretical literature. Five criteria were defined: personal, socio-cultural, environmental, economic, and physical-visual were defined. Ultimately, the strategies of creating vibrant public open spaces, highlighting and revitalizing existing historical buildings in the neighborhood, creating a mix of uses with the development of uses related to daily life and tourism, creating a neighborhood center and neighborhood unit, and developing business space were prioritized in order, and based on them, a neighborhood strategic map and solutions for neighborhood design were presented.
